Catherine started her career in local government before spending time as the political and constituency manager for a Member of the European Parliament in London and Brussels. She then worked for a UK-wide charity as their Parliamentary Relations Manager. After six years with the charity, she moved out of London and began working as an NHS manager focussing on patient and public engagement.
In 2010, Baroness Julia Cumberlege asked Catherine to join her company Cumberlege Connections, which became Cumberlege Eden & Partners in 2013. Since 2010, Catherine has had operational responsibility for the running of the business, working with clients to ensure all expectations are exceeded.
In April 2017 following Julia Cumberlege’s retirement, Catherine took ownership of the business and is now its Managing Director.
As Project Manager, Liz is involved with all aspects of the courses run by Eden & Partners including liaison with contributors and participants, organisation of venues and co-ordination of all materials. Liz also helps with the delivery of courses.
Liz has worked with the company helping to deliver courses since 2010 and has been Project Manager since July 2015.
Lynn is the financial controller / accountant and joined the team in January 2014. Her accounting experience is varied across industry sectors and continents from PwC in South Africa to DHL in the Cayman Islands and BT in London. After giving up corporate life to be at home with her lovely daughters, Lynn has loved working for the past few years part time for smaller, more personal companies where she can be involved in the entire business.
Sharon has been delivering courses in the health sector for Eden & Partners since 2015. She brings experience from journalism and politics, having previously worked on The World at One and PM programmes on Radio 4.
As one of the country’s leading FT governors, Sharon was the first Chair of the Foundation Trust Governors’ Association, which gave her a national role including writing and amending legislation, dealing with ministers and working with NHS England and other national NHS bodies.
Alison spent over 20 years working in politics and public affairs consultancy before becoming a trainer and executive coach. During her political career she was Special Adviser to Cabinet Minister Michael Portillo in three government departments, Board Director of a public affairs consultancy advising companies and organisations on their relations with government and the media and in-house Director of Corporate Affairs for a multinational PLC.
Since becoming a trainer and coach, Alison has worked with many senior executives in the public and private sectors, including coaching the directors of Clinical Commissioning Groups around London in preparation for their new leadership roles.
Alison has worked with our company since 2013. She has a Masters degree in Health Psychology, is a trained executive coach and is qualified to administer psychometric tests.
